cardiff millennium stadium
Situated on the site of the former Cardiff Arms Park, this three-tiered stadium cost over £100 million to build and is the only retractable roof stadium in the UK, making it particularly suitable for the British weather.
Cardiff Millennium Stadium can seat over 70,000 spectators. It is best known as the home of Welsh Rugby and it played host to the 1999 Rugby World Cup final, but it also hosts football (including FA cup finals whilst Wembley was rebuilt), concerts and other large scale events. Guided Tours are available or, if you're lucky, you might even catch a game.
