bmibaby launch Munich flights
30.10.10
Budget airline bmibaby will launch a new service between Cardiff and Munich this weekend. The airline will operate three flights a week from Cardiff Airport to the Germany's third largest city – the first low cost airline to fly the route - starting tomorrow. It expects to carry more than 10,000 business and leisure passengers over the winter period.
Managing director of bmibaby, Julian Carr, said: ‘We are delighted to add Munich to our network of routes from Cardiff Airport. Munich is a cosmopolitan city and as Germany is not currently served from the region, Munich is perfect for leisure and business travellers.'
