A lucky passenger was given a special surprise at Cardiff Airport as the hub celebrated a milestone for its 51 Lounge. Mrs Gaenor Howells was preparing for a flight to the Greek resort of Paphos when airport staff informed her she was the 100,000th customer to use the executive lounge.
Mrs Howells said: ‘I've used the lounge many times and the service is tremendous. Whenever you come in the staff are polite and courteous. They will always go out of their way to assist you in any way they can.’
The 51 Executive Lounge at Cardiff Airport opened in October 2003. In addition to business travellers, who receive complementary use of the lounge, other passengers can use the facilities from just £10.
