Cardiff Airport has appointed Steve Hodgetts to a newly created role of business development and commercial director.
Mr Hodgetts, 50, has worked at the airport since 1998. He also joins its board in his new position. He joined the airport as commercial manager and was subsequently appointed head of commercial and strategic development. He also delivered the airport’s response to the Government’s White Paper on the Future of Aviation in 2006.
Prior to joining the airport, Mr Hodgetts spent 15 years at Birmingham Airport working in commercial, planning and development roles. An airport spokesman said that he has a proven track record in property, non-aviation revenue generation, future planning and research management.
