bmibaby launched a new route between Cardiff Airport and Barcelona today. The twice-weekly service (Tuesday and Saturday) will change to a 3 times weekly on June 18 with the addition of a Wednesday flight.
Crawford Rix, managing director at bmibaby, said: ‘Barcelona is a popular destination from our other UK bases. Now travellers in Wales have access to this stylish and dynamic city. The inaugural flight is 95% full and forward bookings are very encouraging.’
One-way fares are from £24.99 including taxes and charges. bmibaby flies to 13 destinations from Cardiff Airport, including Alicante, Edinburgh, Faro, Gdansk, Malaga and Palma.
