Fog hits flights

Thick fog has caused disruption to flights at Cardiff Airport yesterday. One outbound flight and two inbound flights were cancelled, while two planes due to land were diverted to Bristol and Birmingham airports.
Fog descended on the airport at about 01:30 but lifted later in the day and planes flowed more freely. However, some later flights were delayed as a knock on effect of the problem.
