Budget airline bmibaby has announced a new route between Cardiff Airport and Barcelona. The flights will take off on May 24 with a two times a week service operating on Tuesday and Saturday. From June 18 the service will increase to three times a week, with an additional service on Wednesday.
Crawford Rix, managing director of bmibaby, said: ‘Since coming to Cardiff 6 years ago, we have developed new networks and we have launched new routes, including last month to Poland. This new route strengthens our position as the number one airline at Cardiff Airport, flying more passengers than any other budget airline.'
Fares on the new route are from £24.99 one way, including taxes and charges. Flights are on sale from today at www.bmibaby.com.
