Cresta and Tradewinds have joined Cardiff Airport to create a new Fly From Cardiff brochure. The venture follows the success of the tour operators Fly From Bristol programme.
Valid until December 2008, the Cardiff Airport brochure features 48 short and long-haul destinations, ranging from the Mediterranean to Malaysia and including city breaks, beach resorts, and even Disneyland Resort Paris. Passengers are offered a choice of scheduled or scheduled flights with budget airlines.
Cresta product development manager Ian Lomas said: 'This new brochure forms part of our strategy to promote regional departure packages. Cardiff Airport carries over 2 million scheduled passengers each year and, with 4.5 million people within a 90 minute drive, offers customers a more convenient alternative to London airports.'
Jon Horne, managing director of Cardiff Airport added: 'Recent consumer research shows people in Wales and the West of England are not aware of the full extent of Cardiff's network. This new brochure is the most extensive collection of our destinations ever offered, to make it much easier for people to see where they can go from their local airport.'
