bmibaby welcomed passengers on its inaugural flight between Cardiff Airport and Warsaw yesterday. To celebrate the start of flights to the Polish capital, passengers checking in for the morning flight were treated to traditional pastries and sweets from Poland.
The new route to Warsaw will operate on Monday, Wednesday and Sunday during the winter and on Monday, Friday and Sunday for the summer. Fares start from £21.99 one way, including all taxes and charges and are bookable online at www.bmibaby.com
A spokesman for bmibaby, said: ‘We have been overwhelmed by the popularity of this route. It is proving popular with the Polish community in Wales and to those looking for an exciting city break.'
