Trolley charge considered
11.07.10
Cardiff Airport could introduce a charge to use baggage trolleys, the South Wales Echo reports. The charge is being considered by the airport as a way of improving the service and bringing it in line with other airports, including Bristol. This comes shortly after the airport introduced a drop off fee.
There is currently no charge for using trolleys at Cardiff Airport, but a spokesman told the newspaper discussions were being held with Bagport, the company operating trolley concessions. Charges for trolleys at Luton and Bristol airports rose from £1 to £2 earlier this month. The charge is non-refundable.
