Flights on a new weekday air service linking north and south Wales launched yesterday. An 18-seater aircraft, operated by Highland Airways, will make two return flights a day on the route between RAF Valley, Anglesey and Cardiff Airport.
A spokesman for Highland Airways said it is selling an average of 200 tickets a week on the route, and that it has attracted leisure and business customers.
