Travellers will be able to start their flights by going online, and miss check-in queues, thanks to a new scheme at Cardiff Airport. After a two-week trial, internet check-in was launched at the airport yesterday.
The first two airlines to use the new service at Cardiff Airport are KLM and bmibaby. Both have made it available to those with hand baggage only.
With these two airlines, passengers can check in, and choose their seats, at any time from 24 hours to four hours before their flight. They then print their boarding cards and go directly to security checks when they reach the airport.
