Orlando charter flights announced

Charters flights to Orlando will operate from Cardiff Airport next summer. Cosmos and sister seat-only firm Avro will offer the flights, to be operated with a Monarch Airbus A330 to Orlando Sanford Airport, with Monday departures from May to August.
Cardiff Airport is offering free car parking fpr bookings made before the end of the year. Prices for 14-night Cosmos packages start at £699 per person based on 6 sharing a two bed apartment on self-catering basis at the Bahama Bay Resort & Spa in Kissimmee. Fourteen night flight-only fares start at £539 per person in economy or £759 in premium.
Airport managing director Patrick Duffy said: ‘Orlando has been missing from our destination map for a while. It is fantastic news that the tour operators have decided to operate from Wales, as Florida has always been a popular destination from Cardiff.’
