Fog hits flights

Five flights from Cardiff Airport were cancelled yesterday due to heavy fog. Local rival Bristol also suffered cancelled flights because of the weather.

More than 100 passengers were affected at Cardiff Airport, with flights, from four airlines including Flybe, Aer Arann and Skybus cancelled, including services to Edinburgh and Paris. Passengers affected were either rebooked onto the next available flight, transferred to another airport or received a refund.
