Zurich flights announced

Helvetic Airways will launch a new route between Cardiff and Zurich next March. The Swiss airline will operate the service four days a week - Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday - using a 100 seat Fokker plane. It will be the first time the airport has had a direct route to Zurich.
Patrick Duffy, managing director of Cardiff Airport, said: ‘Research we conducted found Zurich is one of the most sought after business destinations from Wales. After months of hard work, we are delighted Helvetic Airways has decided to offer this route to travellers.'
