Turkish holiday specialist Holidays4U has picked Cardiff Airport for new regional departures next summer. Starting next May they will offer flights to and from Dalaman on Tuesdays and to Bodrum on Saturdays.
Holidays4U UK managing director Karen Vyse says: 'We have been experiencing a growing demand from customers in Wales and we realise how important it is to have convenient flights from a local airport. We are anticipating offering around 10,000 seats from Cardiff next year including hundreds of free child places and many of our prices will be cheaper than last year.'
Although most of the seats on the flights will be for those booking their family holiday, Holidays4U is also aware that a growing number of British people buying property in Turkey, and will also be able to offer flight-only tickets.
