The Welsh Assembly has announced that Isle of Man airline Manx2 and its partner carrier FLM Aviation have been appointed as the new operator for the North - South air link. The service between Cardiff Airport and Anglesey service will take off again on Monday 10 May.
Deputy First Minister Ieuan Wyn Jones said: ‘I am pleased to announce that Manx2 will be operating the north - south air link. This is a vital service helps to secure economic, social and political cohesion in Wales, as well as supporting economic development in the north-west. The Cardiff to Anglesey service has been hugely popular, with passengers far exceeding our expectations’.
Services will leave Cardiff Airport Monday - Friday at 07:30, returning from Anglesey at 08:55 and arriving into Cardiff at 10:00. Monday to Thursday afternoon flights leave Cardiff at 16:15, returning at 17:40. Friday afternoon services will run an hour earlier, departing 15:15 and returning at 16:40.
